Meet up for grieving young people and families

Join Winston’s Wish for a free, informal meet up to talk to other bereaved young people and families while walking. This is a chance to get together face-to-face and spend time with others who have had similar experiences of grief.

Share advice and stories with those who understand as you stroll around. The team at Winston’s Wish will be walking with you and on hand to connect you with others and let you know about our other free bereavement support services. After the walk there will be refreshments.

New dates for this event will be confirmed soon. Please check this webpage for updates.

In a strange way it was comforting to know everyone there was grieving a loved one and immediately gave everyone common ground. As the group walked it became easier to mix with other families and share personal journeys, listen or chat. The walk made it relaxed and informal which also made it easier.
