The new Cotswolds edition of Monopoly has launched and we’re delighted that Winston’s Wish features on a Community Chest square, sandwiched between Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop and Daylesford Organic!
It was announced last year that a Cotswolds version of Monopoly was being created and the public was invited to send in suggestions for places and charities to feature. A massive thank you to everyone who nominated and voted for Winston’s Wish!
We started as a Gloucestershire based charity 30 years ago and, although we are now a national charity supporting children across the UK, our Head Office is still in Cheltenham and we’re very proud of our local roots
The new Monopoly board features famous Cotswolds landmarks, including Broadway Tower in the prestigious Mayfair position. Other squares feature Sudeley Castle, Tewkesbury Abbey and Westonbirt Arboretum, with more than 30 landmarks included.
The tokens also get a Cotswold makeover, with a tractor, sheep and hiking boot replacing the top hat, racing car and Scottie dog.
