How to create a Facebook fundraiser

If you have a Facebook account, there’s an easy way to raise funds for Winston’s Wish without having to get off the sofa. You can create a fundraiser to celebrate your birthday, your anniversary, or just because to encourage your friends and family to support our cause.

And the best bit? Facebook automatically sends any money donated straight to us and doesn’t charge any processing fees, so we’ll receive everything you raise.

Why are you raising money?

You can use the following to tell your friends and family why you are raising money for Winston’s Wish:

“Winston’s Wish is a national childhood bereavement charity, supporting children, young people and their families – as well as the professionals supporting them – when someone close to them dies.  They provide professional guidance, information and practical support through a Freephone National Helpline, online support, face-to-face support, publications and training.

I want to help fund their support for grieving children across the UK, will you join me and make a contribution? Everything helps, whether you donate a little or a lot.”
