Growing Hope: our gardening group for bereaved children in Gloucester

Through the therapeutic benefits of gardening, Growing Hope offers a nourishing space which feeds both the emotional and physical well-being of bereaved children, enabling them to meet other children of similar ages who have experienced bereavement and create small networks of support. By gardening together with the support of an experienced gardener and a member of the Winston’s Wish team, children are able to process feelings of grief in a gentle way.

If you have a bereaved child in your school, they are invited to attend our monthly gardening sessions. Our next session will take place from 1.15 – 2.30pm on 2nd July and will continue monthly from September throughout term time at King’s School, Gloucester. Transport can be provided. To register a child, please contact Luisa on 07864 957640 or lmiller@winstonswish.org
