Winston’s Wish, one of the UK’s leading childhood bereavement charities, is giving their supporters the opportunity to meet a whole host of famous faces, fantasy legends and time-honoured stars in a new monthly raffle.
Coordinated by celebrity talent agency, DMJ Consultancy, the monthly raffle will see big names from the world of television, cinema and music come together to raise money for Winston’s Wish. Each month, supporters enter the raffle by making a donation to Winston’s Wish through a dedicated JustGiving page and the winner will receive a five-minute, one-to-one meet-and-greet with the well-known star taking part.
Launching the first raffle on 1st November are Catherine Sutherland and Nakia Burrise, best known for their starring roles as classic Power Rangers. “Nakia and I are absolutely delighted to be able to support such a wonderful cause,” said Catherine. “When Daniel got in touch and asked us to take part, we were delighted to jump on board. It’s a brilliant charity doing vital work.”
“Every now and then we hear of a fundraising idea which really grabs our attention,” said Paul Moore, Associate Director of Fundraising at Winston’s Wish. “When we first spoke with Daniel from DMJ we could see the huge potential that the raffle could have, not only in helping us to raise substantial funds but also increase our awareness with a brand-new audience of people. We’re delighted to be working with the agency and look forward to seeing this innovative partnership come to life.”
“I first came across Winston’s Wish on social media not too long ago, and once I read more about what the charity does I knew I had to do something to help with fundraising,” said Daniel John, owner of DMJ Consultancy. “It’s such a worthy cause, and something that I know a lot of people can relate to. Working alongside the wonderful team at Winston’s Wish, I hope my clients and I will be able to help to raise funds over the months to come.”
Each raffle will run from 1st-22nd of each month with the star(s) taking part being announced on the DMJ Consultancy website and social media.
