Ways to give to Winston’s Wish
We rely on voluntary donations for 90% of our income, so any gift you give will help us to provide vital support to more grieving children, young people and their families. Whether you give in memory of someone, leave a legacy gift in your will or play our charity lottery, there are a number of ways to give to Winston’s Wish and help transform a child’s life.
Make a donation
Make a one-off or regular donation and help us ensure that every child can get the help and support they need when someone close to them dies.
Give in memory
Make a donation, fundraise or create a tribute fund in memory of your loved one and your gift will mean that we can continue to support children and families who have also lost someone close to them.
Play our lottery
Play our charity lottery from just £1 a week and you could be in with a chance of winning £25,000. 50p from every £1 entry will go directly towards supporting bereaved children and their families.
Trusts and grants
Support from Charitable Trusts and Foundations is vital to our work supporting bereaved children and young people. There are opportunities to fund specific projects, resources and core costs.
Donate Avios points
Do you have an British Airways Executive Club account? You can donate Avios to Winston’s Wish. Any donations you make in Avios or cash on this platform will be matched thanks to our wonderful supporters IAG Loyalty and British Airways.
Leave a gift in your Will
Help us be there for grieving children in the future by leaving a gift to Winston’s Wish in your Will. Request a free guide to help you get started with making or amending your Will.
Winston’s Book Club
Join the Winston’s Book Club from just £8.50 per month and you will receive a new story book every month for 12 months. The books are written to help children up to eight years old to explore their grief.
Celebrate and give
Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, christening, anniversary or birthday, there are a number of ways to make Winston’s Wish part of your special day, including purchasing our wedding favours.

Purchase from our list of items we send out to grieving children as part of our bereavement activity kits. If you’d like to send something from the list simply browse through and add them to your basket, making sure you follow our instructions for delivery.
